The last of the six dining options inside East Nashville’s new food hall, Hunters Station, opened today at 11 a.m. The Picnic Tap adds picnic-style foods like hot dogs (featuring Porter Road meats), Bavarian pretzels and beer cheese, burgers, hot chicken sandwiches, and more from longtime Nashville chef Chris Futrell to the food hall’s list of choices. For dessert, Nashville favorite cookie dough egg rolls with vanilla ice cream are on offer.

Beer selections will change frequently (25 on tap), so it’s listed on a digital menu and accessible via thier Untapd page. The Picnic Tap is a one of the few spots in town with a beer engine — and they fill growlers to-go.

Four wines on draft are also available, and once the liquor license clears, 4 draft cocktails and a full bar. See the full food menu below.

Located at 975 Main Street (at the intersection of Main and South 10th Streets), the former home to Hunters Custom Automotive was purchased by Fresh Hospitality in 2016.

The space now hosts six local favorites — Vui’s Kitchen, Hugh Baby’s BBQ & Burger Shop, Citizen Market, The Grilled Cheeserie and Tacos Aurora, and today — the Picnic Tap. Inside, each vendor station is outfitted with its own recognizable design features and decor. Outside, guests will have access to two covered patios, a built-in bocce ball court, cornhole, pet-friendly patios and a dedicated off-leash dog area.

The 14,000-square-foot food hall is designed to be a communal hub for guests of all ages to eat, play and socialize. Between its front and back lots, Hunters Station has 3 to-go spots, as well as 47 additional parking spaces that are free for the first 90 minutes. Guests are also permitted to park along 10th Avenue and Finn Street. Hunters Station will be implementing several eco-friendly initiatives as a part of its mission to divert trash from reaching area-landfills. In addition to using all compostable packaging, the food hall will also offer single-stream and glass recycling programs.

Citizen Market is open from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. seven days a week All additional vendors are open from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. seven days a week
