A Broadway bar goes from bro-country to legal battle — as The Blast reports a lawsuit against Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar, filed by a former cook.

In the lawsuit, former cook Cindy Galeano alleges that Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar never paid her overtime when she regularly worked more than 40 hours a week between May and September of 2018, and that she was fired the day after she questioned management regarding payment. Galeano is represented by Morgan & Morgan, and is suing for money she believes she is owned, plus damages.

No comment yet from Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar, which opened last June — a 30,000-square-foot beacon for bachelorette parties and tourists of all types, complete with a gift store, space for 1500 people, and a John Deere tractor.
