This New Germantown Restaurant Specializes in Bao Buns and Dumplings

Steamboys, a fast-casual cafe bringing Chinese comfort foods from bao buns and dumplings to a variety of noodle soups, has opened in the mixed-use development LC Germantown located at 1200 Second Ave N.

The 1,850-square-foot ground floor cafe is light and bright, will a fast-casual counter-order format. The menu is divided into categories from dumplings and bao to noodle soups. Dumplings come filled with pork, seafood, pork and shrimp, or vegetables. Shanghai-style soup dumplings are also coming soon. Pork and vegetarian bao, plus four types of noodle soups round out the menu.

Steam Boys Germantown is open Monday through Thursday from 11:20 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday from noon until 10 p.m., an Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.

Steam Boys is opening a second location soon in Hermitage at 3907 Lebanon Pike.
