Downtown’s swanky new Dream Hotel at 210 4th Ave N opens its flagship restaurant Thursday, February 28. Stateside Kitchen is helmed by executive chef Michael Kopfman and his collective of Hillstone Restaurant Group alumni.
A sushi section leads off the menu — with three rolls, pressed sushi, nigiri and sashimi platters featuring yellowtail, salmon, tuna, and more.
Starters lean American and Southern with focaccia and olives or shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs, warm crab dip, or grilled artichokes to choose from.
Next up look for a warm beet or seared tuna salad, or sandwiches including a chimichurri tri-tip on a toasted baguette.
Entrees at Stateside Kitchen include seafood, pasta, poultry, pork, ribs, and steak. A 48-ounce Bear Creek tomahawk serves two for $150, served with grilled asparagus, black-eyed peas, and Creole potatoes.
The brasserie-style restaurant sits beneath a a Gehry-esque glass atrium designed by famed Nashville-born interior design firm Meyer Davis Studio.
Stateside Kitchen will be open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.
