Social media posts announce the impending opening of nationwide poke chain Poke Bros. soon at 2412 Elliston Place — bringing buildable bowls of sushi-grade tuna, salmon, and squid salad to Music City.

Once it opens, poke fans can order from a pre-made menu of specials or build-their-own approach from a list of Hawaiian-inspired ingredients. Bowl options include ones with salmon, avocado, edamame, cucumber, masago; marinated tuna, sweet onion, seaweed salad, masago, green onion, og sauce, and ponzu; and the Haole with shrimp, green onion, cucumber, crab stick, avocado, masago, and more.

Diners can also order a spicy kani salad with crab sticks or a seaweed salad on the side.

Poke Bros. originated in 2015 in Columbus after the founders first found poke on a trip to California. With over twenty locations in Ohio, Delaware, North and South Carolina, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Knoxville was the first Tennessee city to see the chain last year, before their descent into Nashville.
