Beginning Thursday, May 9, the husband-wife duo behind Nicky’s Coal Fired are relaunching their popular Deli House pop-up, this time in a seasonal partnership with their neighbors at Southern Grist’s taproom in The Nations. Chef Tony Galzin’s Deli House offers a Chicago deli-style experience, serving a variety of Chicago and Italian-style sandwiches.

Tony and Caroline Galzin first introduced the Chicago-inspired sandwiches to Nashville in 2013, with their first locations inside East Nashville’s POP, the Farmer’s Market, and The Band Box, among others, with the goal of bringing real, Chicago-style sandwiches to the South.

The Deli House menu includes Chicago-style Italian beef, Mama G’s meatball sub, an Italian sub, and Caprese tapenade, all priced at $12.

The couple’s Deli House pop-up begins at Southern Grist’s Taproom in the Nations (5012 Centennial Boulevard) on Thursday, May 9, and will be available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can also call in to place to-go orders during those hours.
