Plus a coffee shop from industry heavy hitters Marc Rose and Med Abrous

When the Graduate Nashville hotel opens this fall, expect a rooftop bar and a coffee shop from some notable LA-based names. Hospitality veterans Marc Rose and Med Abrous announced they’re expanding their relationship with the boutique hotel brand, on the heels of the recent opening of rooftop bar Mountaineering Club at the Graduate Seattle.

Abrous and Rose are also the names behind The Spare Room — an award-winning cocktail hot spot at historic Hollyroom Roosevelt . They also own an iconic LA Chinese restaurant, Genghis Cohen, and all-day restaurant Winsome.

Coincidentally, Abrous and Rose are welcoming a pop-up of Nashville’s own Pearl Diver this Wednesday, June 19 to The Spare Room. Pearl Diver was recently named one of 10 nominees for Best New American Cocktail bars by Tales of the Cocktail’s 13th annual Spirited Awards.

The duo will be the exclusive food and beverage operators for the boutique hotel set to open this fall, with the coffee shop, rooftop bar, and extensive and event space. There aren’t many further details available regarding the food and beverage options they’ll add at the Graduate, so check back for updates soon.
