Preview Ford Fry’s Upcoming Gulch Restaurant With Free Breakfast Tacos This Sunday

One free migas-style breakfast taco per person, in anticipation of Superica’s so-soon opening

Andrew Thomas Lee / Submitted

Chef and owner Ford Fry is popping up with a preview of his highly anticipated Tex-Mex restaurant Superica this weekend — passing out free breakfast tacos starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 21.

In celebration of the so-soon opening in the Gulch (605 Overton Street, specifically), passersby can collect one free migas-style breakfast taco per person. Agua frescas and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase to wash down those tacos.

No reservations required here — the free taco pop-up begins at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 21 and continues until they run out.

Once open, Superica will serve Tex-Mex standards like Fry grew up eating in Texas, alongside wood-grilled fajitas, shrimp tacos, and more, all served on fresh flour and corn tortillas.
