In what is perhaps the most Nashville restaurant announcement ever — the city’s first fried chicken (or cauliflower — shoutout vegetarians) and waffle cone restaurant is happening. Coneheads is coming to Dickerson Pike this fall. Claiming to be the savory answer to ice cream cones, Coneheads says they’ll mix fried chicken with savory sauces in crispy waffle cones — but that the flavor of the chicken and waffle cones will stand out without the sauces, according to owner Marcus Buggs.

With an address of 1315 Dickerson Pike just north of the Cleveland Park neighborhood, Buggs’ casual chicken cone purveyor will also serve comfort food sides in an ice cream parlor-inspired setting.
