B1281, a new patio bar and food truck hub serving Hawaiian cuisine and cocktails at upcoming mixed-used development Bento Chestnut Hill, is now open.

Serving Hawaiian-style lunch plates, poke, and yakitori, the surf club-themed patio bar and food truck hub offers an outdoor space blending art (yes, there are murals), food, cocktails, and entertainment.

Hawaiian-style lunch plates served include chicken karaage, pork rafute (Okinawan glazed pork), beef kalbi, and ahi poke. All come served with choice of hapa (half brown, half white) rice, or grain of the day, and two sides.

At dinner time, begin with Ahi poke or furikake-sprinkled sweet potato fries, then move on to yakitori skewered mains like Huli Huli chicken, shishito peppers, and pork belly.

To sip on at the patio bar: beer and wine, of course, plus beach-friendly cocktails like a classic daiquiri, mai tais, painkillers, and a Kingston Negroni.

B1281 is now open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. B1281 is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
