The Beignet Bar food truck starts rolling today in Nashville — dishing out hot, classic New Orleans-style beignets, plus flavors like blueberry basil, pecan praline, and peach.

On the food truck’s Instagram account, they tease diners with other flavors like candied bacon with maple syrup, and bananas foster-stuffed variations dusted with powdered sugar.

Today (Thursday, August 29) they’re at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., then at TSU Avon Williams Campus (330 10th Avenue South) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

On Friday, August 30, look for the pillow-y beignet purveyor at Slim & Husky’s in North Nashville, and on Saturday, they’ll be at the Fork Fest down South in Leiper’s Fork.

Beignet Bar has catered events around town since first announcement of the destination for that sweet New Orleans fix last September. They’re also rumored to have a permanent location in the works. Follow Beignet Bar on Instagram to follow along with the truck’s latest location.
