The Nashville Business Journal reported earlier this week that East side pasta purveyor Nicoletto’s Italian Kitchen has its sights set on Hillsboro Village for a second location.
The new carb-centric spot slides another former home of carbs of another sort — the just closed Bare Naked Bagel location — at 2123 Belcourt Avenue. More details about the expansion will be added as more information becomes available.
Open on Gallatin Pike since early 2016, the original Nicoletto’s is owned and operated by brothers Danny and Ryan Nicoletto. The roughly 700-square-foot East Nashville space beside Mickey’s Tavern serves as a full service retail spot for their dried and fresh pastas, plus a 16-seat fast-casual restaurant serving a simple menu of pastas, meatballs, and salad. Nicoletto’s also serves a late night menu (until midnight) on weekends — with meatball subs, Italian beef, green chili mac and cheese, and more on offer.
