Thai Esane, one of Nashville’s best Thai restaurants, is ready to reopen in its new location on Tuesday, September 17.
Chef and owner Nina Singto’s well loved Thai and Lao restaurants is back — just a short drive from the former 12 South location — on the ground floor of the Element Music Row building at 1520 Division Street.
The new 3,500-square-foot location on Music Row sees a more upscale atmosphere, expanded bar menu, indoor seating for 120, plus a Music Circle-facing patio with seating for 40. The restaurant’s focal point is a six-foot-tall golden Buddha — shipped in from Thailand.
Thai Esane’s menu hones in on Southeastern Asian cuisine, featuring dishes from Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. Singto followed her family’s success at Antioch’s King Market by opening Thai Esane in 2014.
Her Nashville restaurant quickly became favorite among locals for her Malaysian-style noodles, papaya salad, and other well-executed dishes. Singto’s closed her former 12th Avenue location at the end of May when the lease ran out. A new Thai restaurant (King Thai) is set to open there soon.
Thai Esane will open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
