Though the dangling Mardi Gras beans and flickering lights have seemingly disappeared, Green Hills’ much missed Firefly Grille space reopened this week as Cole’s Kitchen, according to a post on social media. The new restaurant and bar (from the same owner) Curt Cole, opened September 25 in the freshly painted space at 2201 Bandywood Drive. Stay tuned for a look at the new interior, and take a look at the new menu below.

The eclectic Green Hills restaurant and bar closed its doors in April after 17 years— stating that Cole was retiring due to health issues. The social media post said that retirement didn’t suit the owner, and he took time to see to his health issues during the time off.
Cole was also a founding partner of Midtown Cafe and Music City Roadhouse in Washington, D.C.. It was known for its American fare, served in a dining room filled with dangling beads, flickering Christmas lights, and walls of celebrity photos and various knick-knacks.
