Step Inside East Nashville’s New Cozy and Chic Natural Wine Bar

Brunch and dinner destination Lou opens Saturday, September 7

All day cafe and natural wine bar lou opens in East Nashville on Saturday, September 7.

Housed in a renovated 1930s craftsman house in East Nashville’s Riverside Village, hip-chic lou brings an exciting all-day cafe, brunch destination, and natural wines to Nashville.

An exciting duo of talented chef/owner Mailea Weger (most recently at Paris’ acclaimed Echo Deli) and pastry chef Sasha Piligian (formerly of Sqirl) lead the team at lou, with a strong menu merging European and California vibes. See the menus and read more about the chefs here.

Black-framed windows, door and bright white exterior welcome guests to the home-turned-bistro. Upon entrance, diners walk right up to the original brick fireplace, while a custom bar backed by a vintage mirror and crowned with dangling chic lighting fills the far right corner.

Bistro seating, floral arrangements, vintage wallpaper, and custom art complete the cozy space. A juxtaposition of iconic, clean creamy tones and new age pastels pop with peachy nudes in the fresh, bright space.

The interior feels very French bistro with small circular tables, brass details, stacked simple white plates, cake stands filled pastries,

An outside communal table and patio are forthcoming.
