Essential Germantown Restaurant Rolf and Daughters Reopens After Renovations

Chef Philip Krajeck promises “the same RAD, just RAD-er”

James Beard Award-nominated chef Philip Krajeck’s first Nashville staple restaurant, Rolf and Daughters, reopened for busisness as planned on Monday, January 20. The Germantown restaurant closed briefly in early January for a series of renovations and adjustments for acoustics.

In an email, Krajeck says the renovations aren’t totally complete and photo-ready just yet, but they are far enough along to open back to business as usual for the crowd favorite small plates, pastas, and signature pastured chicken with preserved garlic and garlic confit.

With the tweaks and refreshes made, the chef promises Rolf will, indeed, have a new look, but will at its core remain the same spot Nashville diners have known and loved for the last seven years.

Krajeck first opened his popular Germantown restaurant in the fall of 2012. He opened his second essential restaurant, pizza-focused Folk, in East Nashville April of 2018.
