Frohne (featured on the Travel Channel and the Food Network) is the former Culinary Director of Holler & Dash Biscuit House, and former Executive Chef of Mason’s & Mason Bar inside the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. The first come, first served family friendly event at The Nashville Jam Co. is October 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. The menu for the night? A double truffle smash burger comes crowned with smoked fontina cheese whiz, mustard aioli, and yes, shaved black truffles, all on a potato chip crumb bun. Foot long fries are served with umami “love dust” and comeback sauce, for dipping. For dessert, a fall-appropriate pumpkin-spiced boozy pie featuring Nashville Jam Co.’s bourbon apple jam and topped with torched meringue and salted pecan shortbread crumble. There will also be a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, local craft beer, and Diskin Cider for purchase. Indoor and outdoor seating is available with Covid-19 safety measures in place. Guests have the option to dine in, takeout, or order through Postmates.
