It’s safe to say that we’re all looking forward to putting most of what 2020 dished out behind us — although it has gifted us a few pleasant surprises that carried us through. Namely, a plethora of game-changing pop-ups and the surprising allowance of to-go cocktails that brought us all some much-needed comfort amid the chaos.
So, with closing out the year in style in mind, whether it’s eating out of takeout containers watching fireworks on TV, or a fully-plated five-course meal with your significant other at your dining room table, here are some solid options — from ramen to pastries to over-the-top fine dining feasts — for ringing in the New Year safely at home in Nashville. Further support local restaurants by adding on a few to-go cocktails or champagne and give that home bar cart a rest — lord knows it’s done enough this year.
Check back for continual updates through December 29. Know of a local restaurant not listed here? Email nashville@eater.com with details.
