The 404 Kitchen’s Staycation Series Continues This Weekend With Brisket and Sticky Spare Ribs

Jake Wood cooks 4th-friendly meats and more at The 404 this week

The 404 Kitchen continues its staycation-inspired dinner series, partnering Matt Bolus and the team with other notable chefs from Nashville and beyond for one-of-a-kind dining experiences for in-restaurant and take-home diners alike.

The staycation series intends to allow diners to sample an array of cuisines without leaving Nashville (or having to dine in a restaurant, for those who aren’t ready to do so).

The second chef in the series is Jake Wood from upcoming barbecue spot, Lawrence BBQ in Raleigh, NC.. Wood and his team will be cooking at the 404 July 2nd through the 4th. The menu in celebration of the USA (shown below) leads off diners with a choice of smoked wings, pimento Boursin cheese, or an heirloom tomato and stonefruit salad, then takes them into a July 4-friendly selection of shared entree spreads. Smoked meat selections include Texas-style brisket, sticky ribs, smoked-fried chicken wings, and pulled pork.

More information is available on the website. Pre-order Carry Out serves two to three people, for $120. Dine In Prix Fixe, available for a minimum of two people, runs $48 per person.

Future Staycation menus will feature collaborations with chefs Marcus Samuelsson, Andrew Zimmern, and Carla Hall.
