In a weekly Nashville Restaurant Radio episode of The Roundup, Kahlil Arnold announced that his family’s legendary meat-and-three, Arnold’s Country Kitchen, will open for dinner service and daytime weekend meals starting sometime in October. Arnold also said they’ll be adding a bar.
Edgar Pendley is working to transition the popular buffet line into a bar (they’ve just built a new one) and Arnold’s will also feature Pendley’s brews from TennFold. Will Schultz of Urban Grub will develop the bar menu.
Arnold’s at Night food options will feature some of the crowd favorites like mac and cheese and green beans, but spruced up a bit for dinner. Arnold mentioned ribs and smoked pork loin from Bear Creek Farms as possIble dinner features. He’ll also serve the popular (sort of secret menu) tacos and tamales customers have come to know and love.
He hopes to kick off the new additions sometime in October, when he’ll also host a pop-up partnership with Sean Brock and Resy (October 23-25). Arnold’s at Night will kick off with Thursday and Friday nights for dinner, plus daytime service through the weekend.
