“Transpotainment” participants must be seated to drink and must wear a mask when standing

“Transpotainment” returns and restaurant and bar capacity restrictions loosen starting Tuesday, September 1 — in a new modification of restrictions announced by Mayor John Cooper late last week.

Bars can slightly expand reopening, allowing 25 patrons inside plus an additional 25 patrons outside, with a total of 50 per establishment. Bar counters can reopen with social distancing in place at all counters.

Cooper also announced that events like weddings and funerals are allowed to resume with maximum attendance of 125.
