Velvet Taco, a Texas-based taco chain known for its unique takes on tacos filled with global flavors, is opening in Nashville soon, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

NBJ reports that Velvet Taco will open its first Tennessee outpost in Midtown Nashville at 1911 Broadway (the former home of Rack Room & Blue Bar), according to Metro documents.

Creative options include Kobe bacon burger, fish ‘n chips, and falafel tacos, plus a rotating “WTF” (weekly taco feature). Brunch tacos are served all day, as is a stellar fusion of Thai curry coconut and queso. There’s also a more standard queso blanco, elote, and barbacoa beef nachos on the menu at the Dallas location. The Dallas location also offers a crowd favorite “backdoor chicken”, a popular takeout option. They also serve margaritas, beer, and wine.

Founded in 2011, Velvet Taco is a DFW-based restaurant chain that has since expanded Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, and Houston.
