Nashville’s Dolly-Themed Rooftop Restaurant Rolls Out Brunch With Breakfast Charcuterie Boards

Plus four other new (or new again) brunches to try this weekend, for dine-in or takeout

White Limozeen — the Graduate’s glam, pink-splashed rooftop ode to Tennessee’s own Dolly Parton — launches a new French-inspired brunch with Southern accents this weekend. Beginning Saturday, September 5, the restaurant will offer the new brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. For Labor Day on Monday, September 7, they’ll also open for a special brunch service. Reservations are available (but book up well in advance) on Resy.

On the savory side of the menu: a breakfast charcuterie spread featuring Morteau sausage, salami, country ham, a hard boiled egg, pickles, and baguette. Find also caviar with soft scrambled eggs and creme fraiche, a hot chicken Landaise salad, and a red eye croque madame with smoked bologna and coffee mornay. Sweet items include a bread pudding French toast with poached peach, pecan, salted maple caramel, and anglaise.

Drinks include exotic mimosas (choose from grapefruit, guava, mango, passionfruit, pineapple, or raspberry cream) and a house bloody mary with CDC Chris Lewallen’s pickled Fresno chilis. And don’t forget that these pink sparkly champagne Jello shots are available anytime.


East Nashville’s oldest dive bar Dino’s returns (for real this time) — with patio-only service starting Thursday, September 3 and Friday 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., then Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10:30 p.m. Brunch items include a breakfast patty melt, fluffy pancakes, steak and eggs, and hash browns — with cheese or animal style. They’ll also be selling Little Mosko’s ice cream sandwiches. Patio tables are first come, first served. The dining room will remain closed to the public.

Cafe at Thistle Farms returns with coffee, tea, farmhouse breakfast bowls, and bacon biscuits. Open every day except Sunday, serving breakfast until 3 p.m.

Pelican and Pig continues with its new brunch menu of buttery biscuits and show-stopping cheese danishes alongside six-minute eggs with whipped poblano cream ricotta, chili crisp, fermented garlic honey, umami salt, and grilled toast. Brunch here is every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


The Thompson Hotel’s popular rooftop hang L.A. Jackson relaunches brunch service starting Saturday, September 5. They’ll open on Labor Day for a special brunch service, too. Options include a three egg omelette, salmon Benedict, and a traditional Southern breakfast of bacon, eggs, grits, and a biscuit. Always popular shrimp toast at the signature burger are also on the menu, alongside a trio of bloody marys to wash it all down.
