Kahlil Arnold and the family who owns iconic Arnold’s Country Kitchen in the Gulch has confirmed the restaurant’s new extended hours — dubbed Arnold’s After Dark — will debut on Thursday, February 11.
Edgar Pendley has helped transform the original buffet line into a bar (the new daytime buffet line is just a few feet back) — and Pendley’s brews from TennFold will be on offer alongside cocktails from Urban Grub’s Wil Schultz. Arnold’s hasn’t shared the final cocktail or food menus just yet, but teases frozen mint juleps and other refreshing Arnold’s-inspired cocktails alongside some new food offerings (which have sometimes been seen during the daytime as specials) like crispy chicken or brisket tacos, plus cherry-smoked wings. They’ll also offer pulled pork nachos and fried chicken sandwiches, and platters ranging from pulled pork to fried catfish, roast beef, and brisket. Of course, fried chicken will be on the dinner menu too alongside staple sides like mac and cheese, green beans, and crowd favorite pies and banana pudding for desserts.
Starting Thursday, February 11, Arnold’s After Dark’s extended hours will be Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding the first Sunday — when they’ll be closed due to Valentine’s Day).
