This year’s Super Bowl pairs the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, February 7. Food is a basic requirement for any decent football viewing party, especially when it’s the biggest game of the year or just fans of singer the Weeknd, who performs during this year’s half-time show.
Luckily, several Nashville restaurants and bars are offering stellar Super Bowl takeout options for those at-home watch parties starting at 5:30 p.m.
From wood-grilled chicken wings at Edley’s, cheesy layered pies from Joey’s House of Pizza, queso from Jasper’s, to an outside-the-box feast at Trevor Moran’s 12South Dumpling shop (feat. a hot take on a bloomin’ onion, hi), these Nashville restaurants will have every Super Bowl party need all squared away. Be sure to place those orders soon, as cut-off dates are quickly approaching, all noted below.
For related Super Bowl takeout, scope out Eater Nashville’s best bets for chicken wings, fried chicken, Nashville hot chicken, barbecue, tacos, pizza, and beer.
As with all businesses right now, be sure to call ahead to make sure each restaurant is still open or if there are updates on current offerings and service models, as things are changing constantly. Be sure to wear a mask, tip well, and, if you’re ordering delivery, try to order directly from the restaurant themselves.
Disclaimer: A number of restaurants on this map have resumed dine-in service. However, this should not be taken as endorsement for dining in, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on coronavirus cases, please visit A Safe Nashville. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
