The Crying Wolf Reopens for the First Time Since March Tornado

There’s a new food and cocktail menu, with plenty of vegan options

East Nashville’s bar, restaurant, and music venue the Crying Wolf is reopening for business at 5 p.m. on Friday, January 8 for the first time since the March tornadoes that devastated multiple dining and drinking establishments in Nashville.

With the opening, there’s a new food and cocktail menu, featuring plenty of vegan options for burgers, plus vegan-specific seitan “chick’n” and waffles, BLT with Behive bacon, and Frito pie. Cocktails ($13 each) include an old fashioned with Nelson’s Greenbriar Whiskey and cinnamon syrup, the zingy Saint Theresa with green chile vodka, and a Last Word with Ford’s Gin. On the sweet side, snag some house churros, served with a seasonally rotating dipping sauce.

There is an outdoor patio for dining, plus takeout available (call to order).

The Crying Wolf will be open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m.
