Curfew Extends to 1 a.m. for Nashville Restaurants and Bars Serving Alcohol

Next adaptation of reopening plan in place starting Monday, March 1

In Mayor John Cooper’s latest adaptation of Phase Three in Nashville’s Roadmap to Reopening beginning Monday, March 1, restaurants and bars serving alcohol can extend hours to 1 a.m. Bars and restaurants can also increase capacity from 75 to 125 people per floor. Additionally, live events can increase allow 1,000 people instead of 500, pending approval from Metro.

Major John Cooper announced the next stages of the reopening plan during last Thursday’s weekly briefing. Restaurants not serving alcohol resumed pre-pandemic hours on February 1.

In the most recent update, there are 1,708 active COVID-19 cases in Davidson County and 632 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. For more information, visit www.asafenashville.org.
