Sea Salt announced via Instagram that its last day of service was Saturday, August 5th. Formerly located in downtown Nashville, the seafood-focused French bistro moved into a 4,000-square-foot space in Hendersonville back in 2021 and quickly became a neighborhood favorite with its inventive cocktails, oyster bar, and fresh dishes using scallops, mussels, snapper, and swordfish.
The three owners — Chris Funk, Mike Haggerty, and Keith Zusk — did not immediately cite a reason for Sea Salt’s closure, but held a series of closing dinners (including a special ticketed event with Bardstown Bourbon) leading up to its last day. Zusk and Haggerty also operated the now-defunct Pitchfork Pizza in Goodlettsville.
