The Eater heatmap is a guide to the hottest restaurants in Nashville right now; spots around town that have been around for less than six months and serving meals that keep diners buzzing. And while yes, restaurant dining rooms are currently closed due to statewide coronavirus-related restrictions, it’s still possible to keep up with this season’s restaurant to-do list. Here, Eater has rounded up some of Music City’s hottest new restaurants that are currently offering delivery services, in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

TennFold Brewing

One of very few new restaurants born amid the chaos, chef-restaurateur Edgar Pendley opened his new Neapolitan pizza-focused restaurant and craft brewery and the end of March in Donelson. Check social media for hours, but they’re now offering delivery via Grubhub and Postmates, plus curbside service, and takeout.

Riddim n Spice

Now available for delivery on Postmates and takeout, Riddim N Spice opened their permanent location, serving smoked jerk chicken and vegan options aplenty, near Meharry Medical College in late September. Chef Kamal Kalokoh, alongside brother and business partner Rashean Conaway, opened near the historic Jefferson Street neighborhood after roving around the city as a popular food truck since 2014.

Available on Grubhub and Uber Eats, the simply-named new burger joint from the owners of 51st Deli recently in the Nations, and people say the $8 burgers, chorizo fries, tots, and warm pimento queso are all worth trying. On the sweeter side — choose from a classic cast of milkshakes and floats

Available on DoorDash and Postmates, the Memphis-born slow-smoked meat merchant Central BBQ opened in late October — bringing ribs, pulled pork, brisket, turkey, and chicken to carnivores in Nashville. The popular barbecue brand began smoking meats on Memphis’ Central Avenue in 2002, and has since expanded its meat-heavy empire to three other locations there before spreading its smoky wings to Music City.
