It’s common knowledge that there are plenty of places in Nashville to grab a tasty and satisfying burger without reaching too deep into that wallet. But every once in a while, burger enthusiasts may feel the urge to splurge. At the moment, these are the 8 most expensive burgers in town.

The former threshold to make the list was $17, but with the rise in Nashville’s cost of living comes a rise in cost of burgers, so the ante has been upped to an $18.50 price tag to qualify, in this update.

This Belle Meade wine bar and restaurant newly snags the overpriced burger crown with its dinnertime price raised to $25. $17 at lunch, it’s eight ounces of ground chuck from steak trimmings, topped with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, pickles, crispy onions, and thousand island dressing on a sesame bun. It does come served with fries.

It looks as though the most expensive burger “in Nashville” now actually resides a little south of town at Franklin's Cork & Cow. Known simply as 'The Burger,' the patty is made up of house-ground tenderloin, then topped with Benton’s bacon, Tennessee cheddar, greens, red onion, and truffle aioli. All-in, served with fries: $24.

The 404 Burger from Matt Bolus is available at 404 Kitchen and Gertie’s Bar. It’s a double patty Bear Creek Farm smash burger cooked over diced onions and topped with Benton’s bacon, American cheese, braised onions, charred romaine, Duke’s mayonnaise, and truffled mushrooms. The bun, dubbed the ‘Nashville Potato Muffin,’ is an English muffin and potato bun hybrid. Price: $23.

Matt Hyland’s popular New York City pizza joint came to Nashville a couple years back, and with the arrival came the ‘Le Big Matt,’ featuring two Bear Creek Farm beef patties topped with American cheese, pickles, greens, and a sambal-based special house sauce, all between a Tom Cat Bakery pretzel bun. Priced at $19, the burger does come with waffle fries.
