It’s common knowledge that there are plenty of places in Nashville to grab a tasty and satisfying burger without reaching too deep into that wallet. But every once in a while, burger enthusiasts may feel the urge to splurge. At the moment, these are the 8 most expensive burgers in town.

The former threshold to make the list was $17, but with the rise in Nashville’s cost of living comes a rise in cost of burgers, so the ante has been upped to an $18.50 price tag to qualify, in this update.

This Belle Meade wine bar and restaurant newly snags the overpriced burger crown with its dinnertime price raised to $25. $17 at lunch, it’s eight ounces of ground chuck from steak trimmings, topped with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, pickles, crispy onions, and thousand island dressing on a sesame bun. It does come served with fries.

It looks as though the most expensive burger “in Nashville” now actually resides a little south of town at Franklin's Cork & Cow. Known simply as 'The Burger,' the patty is made up of house-ground tenderloin, then topped with Benton’s bacon, Tennessee cheddar, greens, red onion, and truffle aioli. All-in, served with fries: $24.

Matt Hyland’s popular New York City pizza joint came to Nashville a couple years back, and with the arrival came the ‘Le Big Matt,’ featuring two Bear Creek Farm beef patties topped with American cheese, pickles, greens, and a sambal-based special house sauce, all between a Tom Cat Bakery pretzel bun.
